I thought I might share another thought with you. Today I think I would like to share a thought on driving to the airport versus riding with a taxi. As the owner of a taxi company I am biased in my view. You should understand that at the outset. If you drive to the airport and will be on vacation for let’s say a week, try to keep in mind that parking cost $9 per day. That is $63 in parking fees alone. Not to mention gas expense, wear and tear on your vehicle, and your time and trouble. Our fee to the airport from Smyrna is a mere $40.
I also have a thought on convenience. When you drive yourself you have to go to economy parking, get parked, wait for the shuttle bus to make it’s rounds, lug your bags into the bus, take the ride to the airport entrance, then get your bags off the bus and into the airport. Sounds like a lot of work compared to being dropped at the front door and having one of our courteous drivers get your luggage out of the van for you. Even coming from the owner of a taxi company, I thought it made much more sense than to drive yourself! Thanks for reading. Wayne W. Ridings owner.
